The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and after-sales service for agricultural machinery, including tractors, combine harvesters, and related equipment.

The incumbent is expected to perform the following activities.

• Provide technical support and after-sales service for tractors, combine harvesters, and other agricultural machinery.
• Conduct machine inspection, servicing, preventive maintenance and repair activities at customer, dealer, and field locations.
• Attend customer and dealer complaints promptly and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Guide customers and operators on proper machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspection (PDI), machine commissioning, and delivery support.
• Provide technical support during demonstrations, field trials, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Prepare service reports, inspection reports, warranty claims, and other technical documents accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with the Spare Parts, Sales, and Service teams to ensure timely availability of required spare parts and technical support.
• Provide technical feedback to the Service Manager and Head Office regarding machine performance, product issues, and field conditions.
• Communicate with principals regarding machines and technical support.
• Follow manufacturer’s service manuals, technical guidelines, and recommended maintenance procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-7 years
• Education: diploma in automobile engineering
• Skills: agricultural machinery operation, knowledge of agricultural machinery, field service engineering, agricultural machinery, farm equipment operation, field technicians, technical services, mechanical maintenance, tractor, technical-support
