Assistant Engineer/ Engineer (Strategic Project)

The Role:

• Explore and capture the growing business by promoting gas & new energy applications
• Establish and secure closer client relationships with business owners
• Perform account management including proposal preparation and offer to customers
• Handle town gas design including town gas supply and provide recommendations to customers, e.g C&I appliances, steam and hot water boiler system and desiccant air-conditioning
• Keep up with technical expertise and know-hows for different gas installations and gas applications
• Plan and implement new energy projects such as hydrogen and methanal application, combined heat-and-power system, ensuring effective resource allocation, timelines, sustainable financing and budget management
• Closely monitor the competitive business environment and keep track of updated market information by conducting technical and market research
• Monitor updates to local regulations and Codes of Practice for gas & new energy applications.
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the preparation of sales and management reports
• Prepare and submit technical & safety documentation for green energy projects to relevant authorities (e.g. EMSD and FSD)

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in related fields; candidate with more experience will be considered as Engineer
• Candidate with proven experience on green energy projects is an advantage
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an added advantage
• Holder of a valid driving license (private car) is an advantage
• Able to manage projects independently and work under pressure Multi-tasking, creative, self-motivated and enthusiastic
