Assistant Engineer/ Field Service Engineer (Entry Level) | MNC Semiconductor

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, service, maintain, upgrade and support semiconductor equipment at customers’ facilities.
• Perform equipment setup, modification, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose electronic and mechanical equipment issues and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Develop a good understanding of equipment systems, parameters and interactions to support troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Support equipment operations at customers’ semiconductor fabs and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Assist senior engineers with advanced technical activities such as robot teaching and sub-unit servicing.
• Handle designated jigs and equipment during service activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports and service documentation.
• Attend regular team meetings and technical presentations.
• Participate in 24/7 standby duties based on a roster.
• Support ad-hoc shift work and delivery duties when required.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth service operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Travel locally and overseas occasionally for training or customer support.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, machine installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting or repair is an advantage
• Entry levels are welcomed, as training will be provided
