Assistant Engineer/ Lab & Site Technician

CASTconsult Sdn Bhd is looking for a Lab & Site Technician / Assistant Engineer to join our Karak Branch.

Job Requirements

1. Preferably Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field.
2. Previous experience in construction, laboratory testing, site inspection or related work will be an advantage.
3. Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word, for preparing reports and documentation.
4. Possess own transportation and a valid driving licence.
5. Preferably can drive MANUAL.
6. Physically fit and able to work at construction sites, including outdoor work and hot weather conditions.
7. Willing to travel for outstation assignments and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct laboratory and site testing, including FDT, Mackintosh Probe, Plate Bearing Test, and other related tests.
2. Conduct piling testing and related site activities. (PDA, PIT, MLT & SLT)
3. Planning & site arrangement with client.
4. Responsible, committed, and dedicated to assigned tasks.
5. Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
6. Able to follow instructions and work effectively under the supervision of the assigned supervisor.
