Assistant Engineer/ Process Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Process Engineer / Assistant Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and optimize wet and dry manufacturing processes to achieve quality, yield, productivity, and cost targets.
• Monitor and maintain process parameters within established specifications to ensure stable and efficient production.
• Manage wet processes, including Copper (Cu) plating, Nickel (Ni) plating, developing, stripping, and seed layer etching.
• Support dry processes, including dry lamination, Laser Direct Imaging (LDI), and flycutting.
• Perform routine chemical analysis of plating solutions and process baths, monitor chemical concentrations, and replenish plating solutions to maintain optimal process performance.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, spare parts replacement, equipment installation, qualification, and process validation.
• Investigate process deviations, quality issues, and customer complaints using quality improvement methodologies such as CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives through Kaizen and operational excellence projects to enhance quality, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Analyze production data, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations to improve manufacturing performance.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess at least 0–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment will have an added advantage.
• Knowledge of electroplating, chemical processes, or semiconductor manufacturing operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is an advantage.
• Hands-on with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for process and equipment-related issues.
• Good communication, teamwork, and technical reporting skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Training is provided.

Additional Information:

• **Salary:** Up to SGD 4,200 +AWS +VB (1-2 months)
• Working Location: Joo Koon
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Mon-Fri: 7.50am to 4.55pm
• Company transport available at selected pick up point island wide
