This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, hands-on, proactive and enjoy solving real production challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate production schedules based on customer orders, delivery requirements, machine capacity, manpower and material readiness.
- Analyse cycle time, production capacity, machine utilisation and actual output to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor production progress and coordinate with Production, Purchasing, QC and Logistics to support on-time delivery.

- Evaluate whether additional manpower, overtime, process improvement or automation is the most cost-effective solution.
- Conduct basic cost-benefit and ROI analysis for proposed production improvements and automation investments.
- Research and evaluate practical automation solutions where appropriate, including potential applications for CNC and Welding processes.
- Support the implementation of approved improvement initiatives and measure actual results against expected productivity and cost savings.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to analyse production data, capacity, cycle time, machine utilisation and manpower requirements.
- Strong interest in process improvement, manufacturing efficiency and automation.
- Able to research, learn and develop practical solutions independently with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on, proactive and commercially minded, with good problem-solving skills and the ability to assess improvement opportunities from both technical and cost perspectives.
- Experience with Mazak and/or FANUC CNC machines is an advantage.
- Experience in production planning, Lean / Kaizen or continuous improvement.
