Assistant Estimator / Estimator

About the role

To prepare tender independently from cost build-up, contractual review, making relevant quotation inquiry, analyzing and preparing estimating reports, and tender submission to handling tendering correspondence with Client / Consultant. To study tender documents including tender specification and drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender independently from cost build-up, contractual review, making relevant quotation inquiry, analyzing and preparing estimating reports
• Handle tendering correspondence with Client / Consultant
• Study tender documents including tender specification and drawings
• Prepare enquiry to material suppliers and sub-contractors for quotations
• Analyze quotation prices, details and conditions in order to select the best quotation for compliant material
• Prepare entire cost estimation works based on preliminary tender design drawings and calculation
• Prepare reply to tender queries
• Prepare final tender award budget on successful tender

About you

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building Construction or equivalent
• 1-3 years working experience in tendering, quantity surveying or estimating
• Good communication skill, self-motivated, immaculate, hard working and independent
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
