Assistant Event Manager

Our client, a connection between brands and people is looking to hire an Assistant Event Manager who will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish as well as to understand all aspects of event management from initial brief to conceptualisation, formulation, pre-event planning, on-site production, execution and as well being able to bring the event to fruition.

• Able to understand and conceptualise events and formulation of proposals based on stakeholders’ requirements
• Manage and coordinate major events, campaigns, and projects
• Manage and oversee oversea project deliverables and deadlines
• Manage event budgets, expenses, targets, and margins
• Prepare and conduct post-event evaluation such as data entry, analysis and producing reports for the management/stakeholders
• Establish an effective and positive working relationship for internal and external business partners and stakeholders
• Other assignments/responsibilities assigned by the management

If you are someone with the following, let’s chat!

• Min. 2-4 years of related experience in MICE or Events Management industry with a proven track record of managing successful events (up to a scale of thousand and above)
• Experience in similar role as an Event Manager, leader of a team or similar
• Experience in managing multiple events at any one time with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Experience in managing wider team on-site at an event with the ability to troubleshoot on-site and react accordingly while providing solutions to the internal/external team and stakeholders or clients
• Possess interpersonal skills, multi-tasking abilities and excellent time-management
• Possess strong project management skills, comfortable working under pressure
