Assistant Event Manager

We are currently supporting a leading philanthropic organisation in Hong Kong on a search for an experienced professional to join its stakeholder engagement team.

The role will support the development and execution of stakeholder engagement initiatives, helping strengthen relationships with community leaders, grantees, partners and other key stakeholders, while contributing to the organisation’s wider social impact and community presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support stakeholder engagement and outreach initiatives with community leaders, grantees, partners and senior stakeholders
• Plan and deliver major signature events, ceremonies, forums and community initiatives
• Coordinate publicity and acknowledgement activities for grantees and project partners
• Work closely with internal programme teams and cross-functional stakeholders to execute engagement strategies
• Support the organisation’s participation in external events, launches, seminars and community activities
• Manage event logistics, materials, risk monitoring and issue escalation
• Support budget tracking, procurement and day-to-day operational activities
• Contribute to internal staff engagement and collaborative initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related discipline
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, customer relations or marketing communications
• Strong experience in event coordination and stakeholder relationship management
• Exposure to the social welfare, community services, non-profit or philanthropy sector would be an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
