ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE (MALAYSIA)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for generating Purchase Requests (PR) according to the required quantity and to discuss or review on priorities of Sales

Orders with the Shipping Department to meet customer delivery requirements.

• Responsible to update Bill of Materials (BOM) for new products in the ERP and material planning spreadsheet.
• Responsible for triggering and discussing with the Purchasing Department the minimum order quantity and lead time delivery of materials to comply with good Warehouse practice patterns for materials.
• Responsible for closely monitoring the delivery date of materials with the purchaser to ensure sufficient stock for production usage.
• Responsible to monitor inventory levels for direct materials in Warehouse to ensure all materials are kept at the safety level.
• Responsible to purchase materials which is under minimum stock level and, whenever necessary, to fulfill customer orders.
• Responsible to lead the raw materials and packaging materials phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) activities, chair the PIPO meeting & prepare minutes of meeting, and monitoring PIPO item.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or any related field (APICS or Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus).
• 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, or planning (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
