Assistant Factory Manager

Responsibilities :

• Plan, manage, and monitor daily factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Lead and supervise factory supervisors, operators, and workers to maintain productivity, workmanship quality, safety compliance, and proper execution of works.
• Monitor factory performance, material usage, product quality, and operational issues, and implement corrective and improvement measures to enhance productivity, reduce wastage, and support timely project delivery.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines.
• Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications and industry standards.
• Establish and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows.
• Monitor and control operational costs, including materials, tooling, and labor.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and relevant authorities when required.
• Track KPIs and prepare operational reports for management.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent qualification.
• Min 5 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing operation & production management.
• Experience at least 5 years in managerial role or similar leadership role.
• Possess working experience in CNC machining, sheet metal, screw manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with factory machinery, equipment and production technology.
• Strong in leadership, analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
• Able to handle tight schedule and deadline.
• Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication across our diverse operations.
