About the Role

To support the Finance Team in strengthening financial governance across the Group by coordinating finance activities between subsidiaries and Head Office, ensuring compliance with approved SOPs, monitoring internal controls, preparing management reports, managing banking relationships, and conducting periodic internal finance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Coordination

• Act as the primary finance coordinator between all subsidiaries and Head Office.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports from all business units.
• Follow up on outstanding financial matters and management instructions.

2. SOP Implementation

• Ensure departments comply with SOPs approved by the CEO.
• Monitor adherence to finance policies and recommend improvements where required.
• Assist departments in understanding and implementing approved procedures.

3. Internal Controls & Compliance

• Conduct periodic internal finance reviews across departments and subsidiaries.
• Verify compliance with company policies, financial controls, and delegated authority limits.
• Report findings, observations, and recommendations to the CFO.
• Follow up on corrective actions until completion.

4. Management Reporting

• Coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Review reports for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before submission.
• Ensure reports are prepared within Management’s required format and timelines.

5. Daily Cash Flow Management

• Prepare and maintain the Group’s daily cash flow report.
• Monitor daily cash collections, receivables, supplier payments, payroll obligations, and bank balances.
• Present the daily cash position to the CFO with key observations and recommendations.

6. Banking & Financial Facilities

• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Maintain records of banking facilities, including overdrafts, guarantees, loans, LCs, and other credit facilities.
• Coordinate documentation for facility renewals and banking transactions.
• Monitor facility utilization and compliance with banking covenants.

7. Finance Support

• Support external and internal auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Assist the CFO with special projects, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
