What you'll be doing?

• Leading group consolidation and reporting: Handle Group consolidation, financial reporting and analysis in line with published deadlines, based on IFRS and HKEX disclosure requirements.
• Maintaining accounting standards: Maintain the Group's Chart of Accounts and ensure consistent definitions and standards are applied across all subsidiaries.
• Preparing key reports: Prepare quarterly reports, interim reports and annual reports for submission to HKEX, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Driving business insights: Provide analytical support to help evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Coordinating budgeting and forecasting: Take the lead in coordinating and preparing the annual Budget and Forecasting process.
• Managing financial risk: Identify financial risks and proactively raise them with management to support timely mitigation.
• Supporting system improvements: Assist in resolving ERP system issues by liaising with the IT team and external system providers.
• Building strong relationships: Support the relationship with Group and local auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audit processes.
• Ensuring compliance: Support Covenant and other compliance reporting in line with required deadlines.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational background: Diploma or above in Accounting or a related professional or financial qualification is required.
• Relevant experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience is required, including at least two (2) years of group consolidation experience.
• Language skills: Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is required to support communication across subsidiaries, stakeholders, and Group reporting requirements in the region.
• Technical proficiency: Proficiency in accounting and financial software, along with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, is essential for this role.
• Audit exposure: Prior audit experience would be considered a valuable addition to the role.
• Professional membership: A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA membership (or equivalent) would be a strong advantage.
• ERP system familiarity: Experience working with ERP systems is preferred, as this will support day-to-day reporting and issue resolution.
• Interpersonal strength: Strong interpersonal skills are valued, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tight deadlines with ease.
• Team spirit and drive: A positive, proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills and a results-driven mindset will help this individual thrive in the role.
• Independence and maturity: A mature, responsible, and resourceful approach is welcomed, along with the ability to perform well with minimal supervision.
