Assistant Finance Manager (Remote)

About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled finance professional to lead our financial operations and team. In this role, you will oversee corporate account setups, system integrations, and multi-entity consolidations. You will play a pivotal role in transitioning our workflows into advanced accounting software, managing cryptocurrency transactions, and supporting strategic corporate restructuring.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and analysis.
• Oversee multi-entity financial consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and general ledger operations.
• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring adherence to internal controls and relevant accounting standards.
• Assist in driving the annual budgeting process, periodic re-forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Perform variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) to identify key performance trends and operational risks.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable financial insights to management.
• Support the setup, implementation, and maintenance of accounting systems and corporate account structures.
• Assist with transitioning manual or legacy workflows into modern accounting software and tools (including digital assets/crypto transactions if applicable).
• Evaluate and refine internal financial workflows, documentation, and reporting processes to maximize efficiency.
