From our very first child car seat to today’s innovative range, we’ve helped protect millions of children around the world on their journeys.

Our products deliver premium safety, comfort and quality at every stage of childhood, from newborn to 12 years.
Across our international locations, our dedicated teams work together to drive innovation and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
Driven by our values – Care, Trust and Curious – we continuously strive to improve and make a positive impact, not only by protecting children but also the world they grow up in.
We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Financial Accountant EMEA to join our Finance team in Andover on a permanent basis.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across multiple EMEA entities. You’ll help deliver accurate monthly management accounts, maintain robust financial controls and support statutory, tax and regulatory compliance across different jurisdictions.
Working across seven EMEA entities, you’ll contribute to month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit preparation and the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting efficiency.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll support accurate and timely financial reporting across the EMEA region while working closely with colleagues and external partners in different countries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform monthly accounting activities across seven EMEA entities.
- Prepare and post standard journals, including accruals and prepayments.
- Create and maintain fixed asset records and run monthly depreciation.
- Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving any variances.
- Deliver monthly financial reporting within group deadlines.
- Help ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support a range of tax-related activities, including VAT returns and Intrastat reporting.
- Support interim and year-end audits across EMEA entities.
- Liaise with external auditors and help ensure the timely completion of required deliverables.
- Maintain strong financial controls and accurate, audit-ready documentation.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline existing financial processes.
- Support ad hoc departmental tasks and cross-functional initiatives as required.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
What helps you succeed in this role:
- An AAT qualification or ongoing studies towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA; part-qualified status would be desirable.
- A good understanding of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, combined with experience using ERP systems – ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, disciplined approach to delivering accurate financial information.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, together with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Confidence working across different regulatory environments and cultural contexts, particularly within a UK-German cross-border setting.
You don’t tick every single box? That’s okay – we’d still love to hear from you.
What you can expect
- A permanent position within an international Finance team.
- Broad exposure to financial reporting and accounting activities across seven EMEA entities.
- The opportunity to develop your experience across month-end reporting, financial controls, tax compliance and audit support.
- A varied role with the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and more efficient financial reporting.
- Close collaboration with colleagues and external partners across different countries.
- A hybrid working model, usually with three days in the office and two days working from home.
- A collaborative culture built on our values: Care, Trust and Curious.
- A team that values accuracy, ownership, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Most importantly, your work will support a trusted brand whose products protect children and give families confidence on every journey.
