£45,000–£55,000 + excellent benefits | Hybrid (1 day from home)

An independent, partner-led wealth manager is looking for an Assistant Financial Planner to join a successful planning team in its central London office. The firm is known for going above and beyond for private clients, families, trusts and charities.

You’ll work alongside an experienced Financial Planner as the link between client administration and advice. You’ll take the first review of a client’s circumstances and help shape the advice that follows.

What you’ll do

• Prepare annual reviews, cashflow analyses, valuations, cost comparisons and suitability reports
• Draft client letters, proposals and executive summaries
• Coordinate new client onboarding, including AML
• Resolve complex queries with providers and interpret quotes
• Work closely with paraplanning and admin to keep advice moving

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years in a financial planning environment
• Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS / DipFA), or well progressed towards it
• Progress towards Chartered or Level 6 is a plus
• Strong product knowledge and an eye for detail
