Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Forex Executive to join our Group Forex team in Pasir Gudang.

The role focuses on foreign exchange activities for companies within the Group, supporting the execution, monitoring and reporting of FX transactions and ensuring that all FX activities are carried out accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Strong interest in Foreign Exchange / FX and financial markets.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is an added advantage.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to work accurately with high-volume data and transactions.
• Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills.
• Candidates with internship or working experience in Foreign Exchange, Finance, Banking, Financial Analysis or related areas are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and coordinating foreign exchange (FX) transactions for companies within the Group.
• Monitor foreign exchange rates and currency movements relevant to the Group's FX requirements.
• Assist in analysing FX exposure and foreign currency requirements.
• Prepare and maintain FX-related reports, analysis and records.
• Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on FX transactions and related matters.
• Monitor the status of FX transactions and ensure timely and accurate execution and documentation.
• Perform FX reconciliation and verification to ensure accuracy of transactions and records.
• Assist in monitoring and analysing foreign exchange gains and losses.
• Ensure all FX activities are performed accurately and in accordance with company policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and FX-related projects assigned by the supervisor.
• Identify opportunities to improve FX processes, reporting and data management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
