THE TEAM
Joining our Front Office team, you will work closely with the Front Office Manager and collaborate with Front Desk, Bell/Door, Concierge, and PBX colleagues to deliver seamless and personalized guest experiences. Our team is passionate about creating memorable first and last impressions while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
YOUR ROLE
As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Front Office. You will lead and support the team in delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining operational excellence, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest. Through coaching, service leadership, and proactive problem-solving, you will contribute to guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and the overall success of the hotel.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Lead the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring service standards are consistently delivered.
- Coach, train, and support Front Office associates to achieve operational excellence and professional growth.
- Foster exceptional guest experiences by anticipating needs, resolving concerns, and building positive guest relationships.
- Oversee guest arrival and departure experiences, ensuring efficient and seamless check-in and check-out processes.
- Monitor staffing levels, prepare schedules, assign duties, and support productivity across the department.
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, safety, security, and cash handling standards.
- Coordinate communication across Front Office functions, ensuring guest requests are followed through promptly and effectively.
- Support revenue protection and operational efficiency by managing room availability, overbooking situations, billing inquiries, and departmental controls.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You have experience in a Front Desk leadership or supervisory role within a luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environment.
- You are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and building strong guest relationships.
- You are an effective leader who can motivate, develop, and support a diverse team.
- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- You are comfortable working with hotel property management systems, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- You have a solid understanding of operational and financial procedures within a hotel Front Office environment.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- You communicate professionally in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
OUR BENEFITS
As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes medical coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
