Salary: Up to £45,000, DOE + benefits

The Role:

A beautifully renovated country pub and restaurant in the heart of the Cotswolds is looking for an ambitious Assistant General Manager to join its leadership team. This is a destination venue known for exceptional food, a strong drinks offering, and a warm, polished guest experience - the kind of place people travel to visit and come back to again and again.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-quality food and drink operation
• Leading service, driving standards, and ensuring every guest leaves wanting to return
• Recruiting, training, and developing front-of-house team members
• Managing rotas, stock, and cost control alongside senior management
• Deputising fully for the GM in their absence, taking ownership of the site
• Helping build a strong local reputation and repeat custom

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or Duty Manager within a quality-led, food-focused pub, restaurant, or small hotel
• A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and drink
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
• High personal standards and real attention to detail
