This is a senior, hands-on role. You’ll lead busy services, support and motivate the team, maintain consistently high standards and ensure the venue runs smoothly. You’ll also work closely with the owner and kitchen to help Le Pinardier continue to develop and grow.
Key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring stock levels, wastage and other operational costs
- Overseeing opening, closing, licensing and health-and-safety procedures
- Handling guest feedback professionally and positively
- Supporting events, tastings and promotions
- Communicating effectively between the owner, kitchen and front-of-house team
- Monitoring operational performance and suggesting ways to improve service and sales
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, wine bar or quality hospitality venue
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Experience creating rotas and managing stock and ordering
- Good commercial awareness
- A calm, practical approach during busy services
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- An interest in wine and food; formal wine qualifications would be welcome but are not essential
