We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant General Manager to join our roofing supply sales team. Duties

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing yard operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
• Assist sales team with cashiering duties
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities
• Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Coordinate shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels and efficient workflow during operating hours
• Implement operational policies and procedures to maintain store standards and compliance with company guidelines
• Promote a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership skillsRequirements
• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within the retail industry sales team management environment
• Strong knowledge of retail math, inventory management
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
• Familiarity with cash handling, and cashiering procedures
• Leadership qualities with supervising experience in retail sales or store management roles
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks
• Basic math skills necessary for pricing, sales calculations, and inventory control
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail

Past experience in roofing industry or similar strongly desired.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 46.0 per week
