Established, locally owned and operated upscale restaurant in the greater Daytona Beach area is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys working alongside a team, communicates effectively, and knows how to bring people together to create a great restaurant experience. We’re looking for someone who can balance the day-to-day needs of the business with a genuine commitment to our guests and staff. A collaborative mindset, a hands-on approach, and a passion for maintaining high standards are key to success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Help oversee daily restaurant operations across both the front and back of house, working closely with the team to keep everything running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment while ensuring food safety and health standards are consistently met.
• Support ongoing staff training and development, helping team members build their skills and deliver excellent guest service.
• Create a positive, supportive workplace where teamwork, open communication, and professional growth are encouraged.
• Lead and support floor operations, ensuring guests receive attentive service and an enjoyable, memorable dining experience.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
• Comfort using POS systems and everyday computer programs such as Toast and Microsoft applications.
• An understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, and proper sanitation practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns and support staff through challenges in a thoughtful, professional manner.
• Fine dining management experience is a plus, but a strong commitment to hospitality and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
