● Ensure all fire, life-safety, and workplace safety standards are maintained.

● Monitor guest satisfaction through Hilton Honors guest survey scores, social media, and third-party review sites; ensure issues identified in guest feedback are addressed and corrected.

● Supervise daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, rate integrity, group and corporate account handling, and resolution of escalated guest complaints.

● Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room inspections, linen and supply inventory, and preventive room-care schedules.

● Supervise the complimentary hot breakfast service and maintenance/engineering functions, including preventive maintenance schedules and work-order follow-through.

● Support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and ensure rooms are PM’d in accordance with company and brand requirements.

● Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of associates, using best practices.

● Assist the General Manager with performance reviews, coaching, and development of team members.

● Help ensure staffing levels are met across front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance, and arrange coverage for any gaps, including working shifts as needed.

● Support human resources functions, including controlling turnover, motivating and retaining employees, and conducting regular employee meetings.

● Serve as manager on duty on a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

● Assume full operational responsibility for the hotel in the General Manager’s absence.
