Assistant General Manager

Page’s Okra Grill is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager with at least three years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-focused leader who enjoys engaging with guests, developing team members, and supporting successful daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and hospitality.
• Assist the General Manager in recruiting, selecting, and hiring outstanding team members.
• Oversee front-of-house scheduling and manage labor costs.
• Implement established front-of-house training programs and support ongoing team development.
• Investigate and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support revenue growth and profitability through community involvement and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and compliance with established cash management policies.
• Maintain exceptional front-of-house cleanliness and sanitation while ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage guests and motivate team members
• Integrity, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and point-of-sale systems; Toast POS experience is a plus
• ServSafe Food Handler Manager certification preferred
