Assistant General Manager Loyola Group, Algarve

Loyola Group is a Irish hospitality company with five venues across Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura, from beachfront dining to lively gastropubs.

We're looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join one of our Algarve venues.

The role

You'll work alongside the General Manager to run a busy, high-standard venue, leading the team and making sure every guest gets a warm Irish welcome.

You'll oversee daily operations, service standards and events, and you'll step up to lead the venue when the GM is away.

What you'll do

Lead, train and motivate the floor and bar teams

Run smooth, efficient service from lunch through to late night

Help manage rotas, stock, costs and targets

Support the planning and delivery of events and private functions

Keep standards high in service, compliance, and health and safety

What we're looking for

Senior management experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hotel

A hands-on leader who stays calm under pressure and leads from the floor

Strong communication and organisational skills

Fluent English is essential

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak season
