Job description

The Assistant General Manager will work hands on every day at the barista counter, on the line, and take care of the administrative tasks of running a restaurant. Your main responsibility will be to operate the restaurant through customer relationships and keeping your labor budget at clearly defined targets.

Labor Budgets

We've set goals for 2026 ands 2027 to grow our business and in order to stay on track, we have labor budget to guide how to write your schedule and be flexible with changing volume.

Operational Expertise

The expectation is to be the expert at all Front of House and Back of House tasks. This includes making coffee, describing menu items, working the line making those items, closing and opening.

You'd also be expected to handle any customer issues with care, we always make it right with our customers, to make them feel heard and taken care of.

Ideal candidates possess:

Excellent work habits and organizational skills to lead a team and connect with customers

Organizational Skills

Familiarity with 3rd party ordering platforms

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task and jump in when needed

Strong leadership and motivational skills

Strong time management skills

Ability to hold teams accountable

The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, sitting, standing, for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
