Assistant General Manager

Dynamite Woodfire Grill is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support daily restaurant operations and help deliver outstanding food quality and customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to supervise staff, coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations, maintain service standards, and support the restaurant’s overall performance in a fast-paced dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and business activities.
• Supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate employees to maintain high performance standards.
• Support staff scheduling, shift coordination, and attendance management.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, service consistency, and guest satisfaction.
• Address customer concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory management, purchasing, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
• Monitor labor costs, operating expenses, sales performance, and daily reports.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and service areas.
• Help implement promotions and operational improvements to increase customer satisfaction.
• Step in for the General Manager when needed to maintain consistent restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in restaurant supervision or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, food service, and cost control.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy restaurant environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems, staff scheduling, inventory tracking, and sales reports.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
