Green Releaf is looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support day-to-day operations and elevate both team and customer experiences. As the right hand to the General Manager, you’ll play a critical role in leading retail operations, optimizing performance, and ensuring full compliance in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead & Support Daily Operations: Help manage and oversee all aspects of store operations including sales, inventory, compliance, and staff performance.
• Champion Team Development: Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing a high-performing team committed to excellence and compliance.
• Scheduling & Coverage: Create and manage employee schedules aligned with business needs and labor efficiency.
• Customer Experience Leadership: Ensure all guests receive exceptional service and cannabis education in a safe, welcoming environment.
• Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Support adherence to all local and state cannabis laws, company policies, and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Help ensure accurate product tracking, loss prevention, and effective restocking procedures using POS/inventory software.
• Operational Reporting: Assist with financial oversight including sales reports, budgeting, and daily operations analysis.
• Facility Oversight: Ensure the store remains safe, clean, and operational by coordinating regular maintenance, inspections, and vendor scheduling.
• Issue Resolution: Tackle operational challenges, customer concerns, and employee performance issues promptly and professionally.
• Employee Lifecycle Support: Conduct interviews, document disciplinary actions, and support HR policies related to employee relations and performance management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 2–4 years in a retail or dispensary leadership role.
• Cannabis Knowledge: Understanding of Missouri cannabis laws and compliance expectations (preferred, but training provided).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Tech & Tools: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Adaptability: Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
