As assistant general manager, you will work with our owner and management team to oversee all daily operations. You will be responsible for enhancing the overall dining experience of our customers and positively leading our staffing team. You should have creativity and passion for food, beverage and excellent customer service.

AGM Responsibilities at Catherine Rooney's & Trolley Tap House will include:

• Providing support to leadership with operational tasks including budgeting and strategic planning
• Responsible for assessing and adjusting operations to drive efficiencies and maximize sales.
• Staff scheduling: maintain adequate front of house staff numbers for bartenders, servers, hosts, food runners/bussers to fill all shifts on a weekly basis in accordance with labor costs
• Supervising the set-up and cleanliness of restaurant areas for your shifts. This will include ensuring all daily side work and cleaning tasks are completed for all front and back of house team members.
• Overseeing and assisting with seasonal food and beverage offerings
• Pre shift staff meetings
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Capable of assisting our entire staff and full restaurant operations every shift
• Able to provide positive customer interaction and table visits every shift
• Assist with staff hiring, training, reviews, disciplinary and corrective actions with front of house staff as needed.
• Coordinate and supervise front of house training programs. Previous experience with food and beer/liquor education is a plus.
• Work with bar/kitchen on promotions and new specials

Steady working history in the hospitality industry with previous restaurant and bar management experience is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
