About Sky Zone Clifton Park
Sky Zone is the originator of wall-to-wall aerial action—part trampoline park, part family fun center, all energy. At our Clifton Park location, we host birthday parties, Glow Nights, Little Leapers, and high-volume weekend crowds while delivering safe, memorable experiences.
The Role
The Assistant General Manager/Ops Manager is the GM’s right hand—owning daily operations, team leadership, guest experience, and sales performance. You’ll coach a high-energy crew, keep the park running safely and smoothly, and turn traffic into memberships, parties, and return visits.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Floor: Serve as Manager on Duty; set the tone for hospitality, urgency, and safety across Courts, Guest Service, and Fuel Zone.
- Drive Sales: Hit weekly targets for memberships, parties, and add-ons; run pitch huddles; track conversion and celebrate wins.
- People & Scheduling: Recruit, train, and coach Team Members and Team Leads; build labor-smart schedules; manage call-outs and coverage.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce SOPs, incident response, daily park inspections, opening/closing checklists, food safety, and cash procedures.
- Standards & Cleanliness: Ensure the park is guest-ready (FOH/BOH), inventory is stocked, and attractions are operating.
- Events & Programs: Execute Glow Nights, Member events, groups, and birthdays with on-time starts and great NPS/feedback.
- KPIs & Reporting: Monitor labor %, conversion %, party close rate, refunds/voids, NPS, and incident metrics; brief the GM daily.
- Systems: Scheduling [Homebase], POS [ROLLER], party booking, incident logs, and checklists accurately and on time.
What You Bring
- 1+ years in hospitality/retail/entertainment leadership (assistant manager or supervisor level).
- Proven results in sales conversion and team coaching in busy, guest-facing environments.
- Cool head under pressure; strong floor presence and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfortable with KPIs, scheduling, cash handling, and opening/closing routines.
- Tech-savvy with POS and staffing tools (Homebase experience a plus).
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 30–40 lbs.
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability: Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Perks
- Performance bonuses and commission opportunities (membership incentives).
- Free/discounted jumping, friends & family perks, Fuel Zone discounts.
- Paid Training
