Assistant Hood Vent Cleaning Technician

Title: Assistant Technician

Pay: $18–$24/hr average

Grease Ninjas is a new, locally-owned kitchen exhaust cleaning company. We're looking for a hardworking assistant technician to join our crew as we grow across metro Atlanta's restaurant and hotel market. You'll work alongside our lead technician, learning the trade hands-on with real potential to grow into a lead role yourself.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with commercial kitchen hood, exhaust, and rooftop unit cleaning to NFPA 96 standard
• Support the lead technician on-site, following their direction on quality and safety
• Help maintain a professional presence with restaurant and hotel facilities managers on-site
• Assist with loading, prepping, and organizing equipment for each job
• Help document completed work with before/after photos for each site
• Bring energy and reliability to the crew — this isn't a company where your input gets lost

Requirements:

• No prior hood cleaning experience required — willingness to learn NFPA 96 standards on the job
• Comfortable with heights, rooftop access, and physically demanding work
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license
• Growth mindset — ready to learn and take on more responsibility over time

Preferred:

• Any prior experience in labor-intensive trades (construction, landscaping, etc.)

Benefits:

• Gym membership
• Golf benefits
• Potential gas stipend
