Assistant Hotel General Manager

Overview

As an Assistant Hotel General Manager, you’ll help lead daily hotel operations and create a welcoming, reliable experience for guests and employees. You’ll partner with the general manager to coordinate guest services, support hotel teams, and keep service standards and financial operations on track. Your impact: By helping teams resolve guest needs promptly and consistently, you support a smoother stay for guests and stronger day-to-day operations.

Duties

• Oversee daily hotel operations, including guest relations, front desk service, and hospitality reservation systems.
• Supervise and manage hospitality teams; communicate priorities clearly and support consistent hotel guest service standards.
• Assist with revenue management, budgeting, and financial management, including monitoring hospitality operations budgets.
• Support human resources activities, such as scheduling, onboarding, and employee performance processes.
• Use property management systems (PMS) and multi-line phone systems; model professional phone etiquette and customer service.

Requirements

• Hotel experience, hospitality management knowledge, and supervising experience are essential.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and experience managing hospitality teams.
• Familiarity with hotel management, guest services, hospitality reservation systems, and property management systems (PMS).
• Understanding of financial operations, budgeting, and revenue management.
• Strong managerial communication and customer service skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred.

Pay: $48,800.00 - $60,000.00 per year
