Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily cleaning operations across all hotel or facility areas
• Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are consistently met
• Coordinate cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public spaces, laundry services, and specialized areas such as industrial or commercial cleaning zones
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and environmental standards to maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, safety practices, and adherence to company policies
• Assist in training staff on proper cleaning techniques, use of equipment, and customer service best practices
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and custodial resources efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning operations, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management
• Strong staff supervision and team management capabilities with previous supervising experience
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and commercial cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer service interactions
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
• Experience in laundry services and janitorial responsibilities within a hospitality or institutional setting

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
