Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in coordinating daily cleaning schedules and ensuring timely completion of tasks across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing clear guidance on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations and company policies
• Oversee custodial activities including industrial cleaning, laundry operations, and specialized sanitation tasks to ensure a hygienic environment
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and customer service expectations
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to support efficient operations
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial cleaning environments
• Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a cleaning or housekeeping setting
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
• Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions with staff and customer service interactions with guests
• Ability to lead by example in performing cleaning tasks such as industrial cleaning, laundry services, and general custodial duties
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
