What they need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA), or equivalent are an advantage.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, or tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, hospitality service standards, and workforce planning.
- Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience handling employee disciplinary procedures, grievance resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Experience with HR analytics, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR Information Systems (HRIS), payroll, and attendance management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when business operations require.
