Assistant HR Manager

Our client is a retail brand with strong global existence. To cope with their expansion in Hong Kong and Macau, they are now looking for an Assistant HR Manager to join them.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, retail operations, and regional requirements.
• Responsible for full spectrum of HR tasks including but not limited to recruitment & selection, payroll processing, HR data administration and MPF / taxation matters
• Lead workforce planning, manpower budgeting, headcount management, and seasonal staffing.
• Advise and coach senior leaders, line managers, and store managers on organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and frontline productivity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong and Macau employment regulations and optimize HR systems and workforce analytics.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of HR experience, with experience in retail industry an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws; Macau labour law experience is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR or data-analysis tools.
• Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
