Assistant HR Manager

About the role

You will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on talent acquisition and compensation & benefits and operations . You will be instrumental in building our frontline retail teams and ensuring HR practices are fully compliant with Hong Kong labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for corporate and frontline retail positions (store managers, supervisors, sales associates)
• Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract top retail talent in a competitive market
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and workforce planning
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-turnover retail roles
• Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage offer negotiations
• Administer monthly payroll, MPF contributions, and final payments accurately and on time
• Manage employee benefits programs including medical insurance, annual leave, and staff discounts
• Conduct salary benchmarking and support annual salary review processes
• Ensure full compliance with the Employment Ordinance and all relevant Hong Kong labour laws

About you

• 6+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years at a supervisory/assistant manager level
• Experience in fashion retail or fast-paced consumer/retail industry is a plus
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and Cantonese
• Degree in HR Management, Business, or related disciplines
