Assistant HR Manager (Global logistics/ Freight forwarding)

A well-established global logistics and freight forwarding provider is looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administration functions in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including probation, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
• Administer payroll, compensation & benefits, and ensure compliance with statutory and employment law requirements.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare regular HR reports and analytics.
• Coordinate learning, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Advise management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
• Oversee administration functions, vendor management, and office-related operations.
• Manage HR and Administration budgets and support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, labor regulations, and industrial relations.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
