Job Summary

Infyworx is seeking caring, reliable and dedicated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to work across multiple aged care facilities in Canberra ACT.

This is a casual, on-call position offering flexible work opportunities across different locations, depending on staffing requirements and your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with showering, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and daily living activities.
• Assist with meals and hydration when required.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Monitor residents and report changes in their condition to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control, manual handling and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Ageing Support, Individual Support or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• Valid National Police Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient and respectful attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to accept casual, on-call shifts across multiple locations in Sydney.

Previous aged care or healthcare experience will be highly regarded.
