Salary: £34,917.13 to £36,754.87 when fully trained
Full-time (40 hrs) | Shift-based/24/7 | Nottingham

Nottingham Trams Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Infrastructure Technician to join our Engineering Department.

As an Assistant Infrastructure Technician, you will support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across our tramway system. Working on shifts which will include some weekend and night working. You'll gain wide-ranging experience and technical development under the supervision of our skilled Technicians, Engineers, and Managers.

Your role will focus on:

• Assisting Infrastructure Technicians and supporting with planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Gain practical experience across mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
• Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and technical procedures
• Driving and operating road rail vehicles

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in an engineering maintenance role in a fast-paced environment.
• HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field at a similar level). Current HGV Cat C licence.
• Experience of working in a technical maintenance environment and can demonstrate technical competence in electrical/mechanical disciplines.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and handle situations with fairness and professionalism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Someone dependable, punctual, and committed to doing things well.
• A good eye for detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
