Assistant Infrastructures Manager

About the role

The jobholder will be responsible for the IT operations and technical support. The role involves system architectural design, infrastructure management, and leading a technical support team.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the system architectural design and solutions to meet business requirements and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain good performance on system infrastructure and high system availability at all times
• Develop infrastructure roadmap, long-term strategies, and capacity planning
• Recommend infrastructure investments to meet future system requirements and business needs
• Work closely with the application team on system testing, configuration, and migration of new server
• Study, plan, and manage the system upgrade and integration projects
• Handle hardware and software upgrade, replacement and purchasing
• Manage a technical support team to provide technical and helpdesk support for call centers and service centers
• Perform audit on IT security, support process and asset management
• On-call for emergency production incidents and perform shift duties as required

About you

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in system design and administration of large-scale infrastructure and applications
• Good knowledge of multi-tiered application environments (Web, Application and Database connectivity) and high availability system
• Solid experience in Cisco Switch, Router, IPS/IDS, Firewall, Load Balancer, network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (Azure / Ali Cloud), Linux, and IT Security
• Solid experience in managing vendors on IT operations, change management, incident management, problem management
• Mature, multi-tasking, and able to work independently and under pressure
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
