Assistant Internet Merchandiser

Solomon Page is partnering with a leading retail and consumer products company to hire an Assistant Merchant, Digital Merchandising Contractor to support product setup, promotional execution, and ecommerce merchandising operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, product launches, and promotional campaigns.,The Assistant Merchant, Digital Merchandising Contractor will support the execution of product launches, pricing updates, promotional campaigns, and onsite merchandising initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring products, pricing, and promotional content are launched accurately and on schedule, while maintaining a best-in-class customer experience across digital channels.

• Contract Duration: October 2026 – January 2027
• Location: Columbus, OH
• Schedule: Hybrid; Tuesday through Thursday onsite
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $32.85/hour

Responsibilities Product Setup & Catalog Management

• Create, maintain, and update product records within ecommerce systems
• Validate assortment information, product attributes, imagery, and launch readiness
• Ensure products are activated, sequenced, and published according to launch timelines
• Support seasonal launches, product introductions, and merchandising initiatives

Pricing & Promotional Execution

• Execute regular and promotional pricing updates
• Configure promotional offers, messaging, and required system inputs
• Validate pricing, offer eligibility, timing, and promotional accuracy prior to launch
• Support ongoing promotional changes and campaign execution

Quality Assurance

• Conduct QA reviews of product detail pages, pricing, promotional messaging, and customer-facing content
• Identify, document, and escalate issues and risks
• Revalidate fixes to ensure accurate onsite execution

Operational Support

• Maintain SKU readiness trackers, launch documentation, and status reporting
• Support product launches, merchandising updates, and promotional events
• Partner cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Merchandising, and Digital teams
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting ecommerce, digital merchandising, product setup, or online retail operations

• Experience working with ecommerce platforms, PIM systems, or related technologies

• Understanding of promotional execution and customer-facing digital experiences

• Familiarity with:

• Product sequencing

• Category navigation

• Product discoverability

• Customer experience optimization

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and executional accuracy

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) preferred
• Experience with content management systems (CMS)
• Familiarity with data validation and reporting tools
• Experience using Workfront, Jira, Asana, or similar project management platforms
