Responsibilities:

• All activities related to the administration and formal processing of industrial property rights in Germany and abroad
• Processing incoming mail, independent file management, including noting and monitoring deadlines
• Correspondence with government agencies, as well as with external patent law firms and service providers
• Administration of inventor compensation payments, including the review and processing of incoming invoices and official fees
• Independent correspondence with Freudenberg business groups and other specialized departments

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a patent attorney’s professional assistant with several years of professional experience in the patent department of an industrial company or a patent law firm
• Proficiency in general secretarial duties, office organization, patent management software, online tools provided by patent offices, and MS Office
• Preferably experience in the administration and processing of inventor compensation payments, as well as in the review and processing of incoming invoices and official fee payments.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• The ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong teamwork skills
