Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Billing:Generate accurate and timely invoices for inpatient services provided to patients
• Verify and ensure proper coding of services for billing purposes
• Insurance Coordination:Verify insurance coverage for inpatient services and communicate relevant information to patients
• Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Billing Documentation:Review patient records and medical documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy for billing
• Maintain organized and detailed records of billing activities
• Payment Processing:Process payments from patients, insurance companies, and other relevant entities
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
• Patient Interaction:Address patient inquiries and concerns related to billing in a professional and empathetic manner
• Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding billing processes and payment options
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team:Collaborate with healthcare providers and medical coding personnel to ensure accurate billing
• Communicate effectively with different departments involved in the billing process
• Compliance:Stay informed about healthcare billing regulations and compliance requirements
• Ensure adherence to privacy and confidentiality regulations in all billing activities
• Reporting:Generate and analyze reports related to billing activities
• Provide regular updates to the finance department on billing performance
