ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive Assistant IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our IT operations and drive technological innovation. You will oversee our enterprise infrastructure, security, and network systems while championing the integration of AI-driven solutions to enhance business productivity. As a key leader, you will manage vendor relationships, guide our technical team, and ensure operational excellence, playing a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey and long-term IT strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

• IT Infrastructure & Operations Management

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the IT Infrastructure & Operations team to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services.
  • Oversee the enterprise infrastructure environment, including servers, networks, storage systems, databases, desktop environments, cloud services, and data center operations.
  • Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and scalability of IT systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Manage IT support services and ensure service delivery meets established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze recurring incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to improve service reliability.

• Network & Security Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, VPNs, and security solutions.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity controls and ensure compliance with information security and data protection requirements.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives.

• AI & Technology Innovation

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions to improve IT operations, cybersecurity, service management, and business productivity.
  • Lead the adoption of Generative AI, Copilot, automation, and intelligent analytics platforms across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Establish governance, security, and compliance standards for the responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Monitor emerging technology trends and recommend innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business value.
  • Support AI-related infrastructure requirements, including cloud platforms, data integration, and security controls.

• Policy, Governance & Documentation

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce IT infrastructure policies, standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Ensure IT operations comply with corporate governance, audit requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in internal and external IT audits and implement remediation actions where necessary.

• Vendor & Asset Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and service commitments.
  • Lead procurement activities for IT hardware, software, and services, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of IT assets and software licenses.

• Project & Budget Management

  • Lead and support IT infrastructure enhancement projects, system upgrades, and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Participate in IT budgeting, capacity planning, and cost management activities.
  • Provide technical consultation and project support to business stakeholders as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in managing infrastructure and operations management, with at least 2 years of experience leading and managing technical teams.

• Proven experience in delivering and managing IT infrastructure projects.

• Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Operating Systems /
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management /
  • Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and cloud-based collaboration platforms /
  • Linux Server Administration /
  • Enterprise Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, Firewall) /
  • Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, etc.) /
  • Backup and Storage Solutions /
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning /
  • Security Administration and Cybersecurity Best Practices /
  • Data Center Operations and IT Service Management (ITSM) /
  • IP Telephony and Video Conferencing Platforms /
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Power Platform, ChatGPT, or other Generative AI technologies is highly desirable.

• Knowledge and experience with Database Management Systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

• Relevant professional certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified /
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP /
  • VMware VCP /
  • ITIL /
  • CISSP /
  • PMP / PRINCE2

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
