Assistant IT Manager

Responsibility

• Oversee daily helpdesk operations and serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational and infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality service delivery
• Establish robust inventory and license management procedures for hardware assets, enterprise software, cloud subscriptions, and vendor contracts
• Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, security and operation workflows of the group
• Manage various IT projects and vendors
• Provide technical support to business functions and digitalization
• IT governance, documentation and SLA achievement
• IT budget planning and execution
• User training and education
• Team building and ensure team performance
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Technology or related discipline
• Preferably with ITIL, CISSP, PMP, CCNA or other relevant certification
• At least 10 years experiences in infrastructure, IT operations and service delivery management, including at least 5 years in a dedicated IT leadership or management capacity
• Solid experience in project management and vendor management
• Deep hands-on expertise in firewall, computer networking and infrastructure design
• Good experience on cloud infrastructure and IoT device management
• Effective project planning and execution, with efficient management of associated budgets
• Strong skills in vendor negotiation, technical documentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication
• Technical know-how and hands-on experience on Windows AD, VMware, Firewall, M365 Administration, Wi-Fi, SAN structure, high resilience design, data center, network monitoring, Veeam, Audio-Video control system, etc.
• Knowledge on large scale system deployment and DBMS will be an advantage
• Experience on digitalization and office automation will be an advantage
• Team Player and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Well problem solving and critical thinking skill
