Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in taking quantities from drawings and specifications
- Help prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs
- Support in preparing interim payments and cost reports
- Assist in tracking project costs and variations
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams
- Maintain records of measurements, invoices, and documents
- Support senior QS with daily quantity surveying tasks
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and measurements
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic QS software (preferred)
- Basic AutoCAD 2D
