Assistant Key Account & Pricing Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Key Account & Pricing Manager to provide commercial, analytical and operational support across our national key account and pricing functions. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, Procurement, Category and Marketing teams to strengthen customer relationships, improve pricing accuracy and identify commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the key internal contact for day-to-day key account commercial matters, supporting the National Sales Manager and key account relationships.
• Prepare customer presentations, performance reports and business review information.
• Support customer meetings, tenders, own-brand opportunities and new national account opportunities.
• Analyse sales, margin, category and product performance to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities.
• Manage customer pricing requests and maintain price lists, discount structures, quantity breaks and promotional pricing.
• Support pricing reviews, new product launch pricing and pricing audits, including competitor and market pricing.
• Maintain customer contracts, trading agreements, pricing schedules and rebate information.
• Support tender and commercial opportunities through pricing and profitability analysis.
• Prepare regular sales, margin, pricing and customer performance reporting and turn data into practical recommendations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in pricing, key account support, sales analysis, category management or a related commercial role.
• Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into practical actions.
• Good understanding of margins, discounts, rebates, pricing structures and customer profitability.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and record management.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate activity across multiple teams and follow actions through to completion.
• Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to identify risks, question anomalies and recommend action.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, plumbing, civil infrastructure or building products would be beneficial.
