Job Overview:

We are seeking a detailed-oriented and creative Assistant Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in SketchUp, rendering software and CAD drafting, with a strong understanding of modern kitchen layouts, custom cabinetry, and a knowledge of the metric system. This role supports lead designers in developing functional, visually appealing modern kitchen designs for high-end residential products.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead designer with modern European cabinetry design projects.
• Assist in creating kitchen, bath, and closet layouts and design concepts.
• Develop 3D models and photorealistic renderings using SketchUp and rendering software.
• Produce accurate technical drawings and cabinetry plans using CAD software.
• Prepare design presentations, elevations, and specifications.
• Assist with on-site field measurements.
• Work with measurements in both imperial and metric system.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and clients as needed.
• Support client meetings and showroom presentation as needed.
• Revise drawings and renderings based on project feedback.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SketchUp is required.
• Ability to create high-quality rendering and reading blueprints is required.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD) preferred.
• Prior experience with modern cabinetry and interior design education preferred.
• Strong understanding of modern kitchen design principles and space planning.
• Familiarity with blueprints, construction documents, floor plans, and site measurements.
• Comfortable working with the metric system preferred.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, track project deadlines, and maintain meticulous records is critical.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
