Assistant Kitchen Manager

Pay: $19–$21/hour, based on experience

Krazyfish Grille is looking for a dependable, motivated Assistant Back of House Manager to join our kitchen leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working alongside their team and can help keep the kitchen organized, efficient, clean, and prepared for service. We’re looking for someone who can lead by example, maintain consistency, and help keep operations running smoothly during a fast-paced service.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily BOH operations and shift leadership
• Supporting, training, and directing kitchen staff
• Maintaining food quality, consistency, presentation, and portioning
• Assisting with prep levels, par levels, inventory, and product rotation
• Monitoring waste and helping control food costs
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food-safety standards
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures
• Making sure stations are properly stocked and prepared for service
• Communicating with FOH management and kitchen leadership
• Stepping onto the line and supporting the team during high-volume service
• Helping maintain accountability and a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment

What we’re looking for:

• Previous restaurant/kitchen experience required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Dependable, organized, and able to take initiative
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain organized and effective during busy services
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Someone interested in growing within a BOH leadership position
